Bespoke Costume Artwork
Your costume. Your colours. Your story.
A little piece of your dancing years, made to keep. Available for past Rising Star costumes or to order alongside your new costume.
Using the original artwork from your Rising Star costume, we recreate a beautiful 12” × 12” embroidered textile artwork, bringing its colours, embroidery and design details to life again in thread and fabric.
Choose to keep the embroidery beautifully simple, or have your piece hand-crystallised to bring back the sparkle of the original costume.
Your artwork can be supplied unframed, ready for you to display your own way, or beautifully presented in a 16” × 16” frame with a generous mount showcasing the full 12” × 12” artwork. Choose from Oak-effect, Black or White to complement your piece and your home.
Each piece is individually made in our Belfast studio. Wherever possible, we return to the original design and embroidery files held in the Rising Star archive — turning something once created for the stage into something that can stay with you long after the dancing is done.
Perfect as a keepsake for the dancer themselves, or as a meaningful gift for a parent, grandparent, teacher, family member or that special person who was always there telling them to shine on stage.
Made for Christmas. Made to keep.
We have limited availability for Christmas delivery. Early ordering is recommended.

Ordering a New Costume?
Your Rising Star Home artwork can be ordered alongside your new Rising Star costume, creating a keepsake of your design from the very beginning.
Because your artwork is created from the same original design files, fabrics, threads and detailing used for your new costume, the two can be made to beautifully complement one another.
Where possible, your artwork can also be dispatched with your finished costume, keeping everything together for its journey home.
Simply add your artwork to your order and let us know the name of the dancer whose costume it belongs to.
A few things to know
The Costume Collection is exclusively available for costumes originally designed and made by Rising Star Designs. As each piece is created from our own original artwork and archive, we are unable to recreate costumes made by other designers.
Each piece is individually made to order in our Belfast studio. Please allow approximately 5-6 weeks for production before dispatch.
Your artwork will be carefully composed by our design team using elements from your original costume. As the design is being reimagined as a 12” × 12” textile artwork, the placement, scale and proportion of individual elements may differ from the original costume.
Our archive spans many years of Rising Star costume design. While we hold an extensive collection of original artwork and embroidery files, we cannot guarantee that every historical design file remains available. Where an original file cannot be located, we will recreate the selected design as faithfully as possible using photographs and other available references. If we require photographs or further information from you, we will get in touch before beginning your artwork.
For older costumes, some of the exact fabrics, threads, crystals or other materials originally used may no longer be manufactured or available. Where necessary, we will carefully select the closest suitable alternatives to recreate the colours, character and overall appearance of your original costume as faithfully as possible.
As every piece is individually embroidered and finished by hand, small variations are part of the character of a bespoke textile artwork.
Caring for Your Artwork
Your Rising Star Home artwork is intentionally displayed without glazing, allowing the texture, embroidery and crystal detailing to be fully appreciated.
To keep your artwork looking its best, display it away from direct sunlight and moisture and avoid touching the embroidered surface. If required, gently remove surface dust using a clean, soft brush.
